Biography
mCo. is a Haitian-born, Montreal-based multidisciplinary artist, musician, singer-songwriter, composer, poet, and visual artist. His creative practice spans multiple disciplines, exploring the intersections of art, psychology, and human experience, shaped by his hypersensitivity, curiosity, and multifaceted perspective on the world.
Born in Grosse Roche, in Vallières, Haiti, mCo. studied psychology and learned music on his own. He writes, composes and produces his music, often carrying it through mixing and mastering, and shapes the images it lives in. His poetry found its way into print with Monologue pour exorciser l'instant, published by C3 Éditions.
In his work, the disciplines feed one another. A poem turns into a song, a song calls for an image, an image opens a conversation. His creative universe lives where these forms meet and change one another.
